The office of international affairs has announced the candidates for the 10 chapters ready for elections in PTI USA. These include Atlanta, Virginia, Dallas, Houston, California, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Seattle and Arlington. The chapters which has only one candidate for a particular position, endorsement from voters of the chapter will be sought whereas the chapters where positions are being contested (Seattle, Pennsylvania) choice of candidates will be given in the e-ballot.
The membership lists will now be opened to candidates for campaign purpose. The deadline for the campaign is 18th April 2011. The e-ballot will be sent to members on 18th April 2011 and responses will be allowed until 20th April 2011. The rules and bindings for campaigning are mentioned below:

- The voters should only be contact by Email.
- Bulk emails to all members exposing the email addresses of individuals is not allowed. Only personalized emails or using BCC should be adopted
- Negative propaganda against other contestants should not be adopted. Only personal attributes and future plans for the chapter should be highlighted
- No negative tactics, influence, bribery in any form should be adopted to sway the voters opinion
- The privacy of member’s information should be respected at all costs
- The contestants who could not win the elections should graciously accept the results and fully support the winning candidates so the party can thrive and grow further.
- The intra-party elections are a step to make PTI an institution and elections should not be a source for division or disharmony among the members. Furthermore, the election campaign should not affect the community relations in chapters. All contestants should be aware of the above considerations so that no negative impressions are not propagated among the community regarding the party and our leader Imran Khan.
